 Thornby Park is a 37.3 acre park along Lakeshore Drive at Providence Boulevard in Deltona, Florida. It opened in 2011 and is located by Lake Monroe. The area was home to Native Americans and includes artifacts and an Indian midden (mound). The site is also home to native plants. The city is part of the Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area; the metropolitan areas population in 2010 was 590,289.
